How Fast Is Data Delivery? What Our Last 30 Days of Orders Show
"How long will my data take?" is the question we hear most. Instead of guessing, we looked at every data order placed on our platform in the 30 days to 29 October 2026.
The numbers
- 2,705 data orders in 30 days.
- 98% of them were MTN bundles.
- 95% of successful orders were sent to the network within 5 minutes of payment — most within seconds.
Sent to the network vs. on your phone
Our records show when we hand the order to the network. The bundle then usually appears on the phone within a few minutes, but the network decides the final step. At busy times — evenings, weekends and month-end — it can take longer, which is why we say delivery can take up to a few hours in rare cases.
What slows an order down
- Network congestion at peak times.
- An unsupported number — Turbosim, broadband or merchant SIMs. We now check MTN numbers before you pay.
- Rare system delays on the delivery side. When an order cannot be sent automatically, our team is alerted and places it manually.
